Fund Accountant
Panama / Dubai / Remote
We are seeking a Fund Accountant to manage the accounting and financial reporting functions of the fund. You will work closely with our fund administrator and ensure accurate NAV calculations, investor allocations, and financial statements.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee NAV calculations and reconciliation with fund administrator
• Review and approve investor capital account statements
• Prepare internal financial reports and analysis for management
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audit
• Reconcile portfolio positions with prime broker and administrator
• Track management and performance fee calculations
• Support tax reporting and K-1 preparation processes
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of fund accounting experience at a hedge fund or administrator
• Strong understanding of hedge fund structures, fee calculations, and investor allocations
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
• Knowledge of partnership accounting and waterfall calculations
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Nice to have:
• Experience with quantitative or systematic fund accounting
• Familiarity with Geneva, Advent, or similar portfolio systems
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency accounting treatments
• Big Four audit experience
